MEET CHANTÉ...

Hi! I'm Chanté, I'm a fashion designer currently based in Philadelphia (originally from Kansas City) with over 8 years of experience. I went to school for fine arts but forged my way into the industry with a lot of hard work and my passion for design. I started out hand dying and printing fabrics and sewing pieces I designed to create collections and build up my portfolio. From there I went on to design for Free People and have been there ever since. Currently I am the lead designer on our collection dress team working on dresses, sets, rompers and jumpsuits. I work with woven, cut and sew knits and full fashioned sweater dress styles. We truly cover it all in my category. I love working with my super collaborative team and have been lucky to be able to mentor and manage some of our younger designers along the way. I’m looking forward to continuing to bring my unique design perspective wherever I am.
